Tuesday, March 22, 6:00pm
Meeting Green Gardens - 1455 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC
Join us at beautiful Meeting Green Gardens for a pollinator gardening workshop!
Owner Kendal Leonard we will go over the plants that thrive in the Lowcountry and support our local pollinators. Bees, as well as the monarch butterfly, are the most common pollinators that show up in headlines, but there are thousands of species of native bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, wasps, flies, beetles, and more that we can support in our gardens.
Meeting Green designers will demonstrate a container garden with plants and flowers that support these important pollinators while discussing the reasons we should be helping the bugs. Enjoy a glass of wine and peruse the garden center after hours both before and after the presentation.
This class is limited to 30 participants. CHS Hort members enter discount code MEMBER at check out to receive the member rate of $25 for this course.
