Molly Hendry toggles the worlds of design and plants as both a trained horticulturist and landscape architect. As the Garden Assessment Project Leader for the Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens she is facilitating a comprehensive review of more than 2 dozen individual gardens that are featured on the 67.5 acre property. She is also a key support player in the renewal of the Gardens' master plan, in addition to managing design development and review of ongoing garden projects. In this lecture, Molly will share about her time spent in England at Great Dixter, and how those experiences influenced her design aesthetic when applying to her southern garden designs.
