What to look forward to in September:
Fall is almost here!! Fall is the primetime to be planting many different plants in the garden thanks to our mild winter. Now is the time to be planning and planting for the fall. While it is still early for cool-season annuals, various herbs and vegetables can be planted now. Many perennials should be planted now but also prepare areas for trees and shrubs to be planted next month. Certain shrubs such as Roses can be planted now. I will also cover care and winterizing of various annuals, perennials and turf. Some pruning can be done now as well if needed.
