CHS Hort Workshop: Helleborus 101 with Beverly Rivers

Think you can’t grow Helleborus (AKA: Lenten Roses) in the Lowcountry?? Think again! Join garden designer and Helleborus enthusiast Beverly Rivers for this class all about how to successfully grow these beautiful spring blooms in our Lowcountry climate.
Beverly Rivers has retired from working alongside the owners and stewards of many storied Charleston gardens for 40 years. She uncovered her passion for gardening following completion of her formal education in another field so she acquired her horticultural knowledge through studying the experts in the field and, through trial and error, (the premiere teacher). She understands and appreciates the unique challenges encountered in this climate zone when using a varied plant palate artistically in the creation of our inspiring gardens.
